  1. Tell us about the beginning of your Swiggy ride. What was your role when you joined the company and how has that evolved over the years?

When I joined Swiggy as a Business Analyst, I did not have prior professional experience. However, in the last five years, I have grown into a more well-rounded professional. I am now an Analytics Manager, and my role has evolved to drive strategic data initiatives, contribute to business strategy, solve complex problems, and also guide the new analysts in the team.

  1. How would you best describe your Swiggy journey?

It’s been an incredible learning experience. Starting off as a fresh graduate to becoming a seasoned analytics professional, I have had the opportunity to work on diverse projects that honed my analytical skills and strategic thinking. The supportive environment and the constant drive for innovation have made my Swiggy ride both challenging and rewarding.

  1. What inspired your decision to join Swiggy?

Swiggy’s rapid growth and innovative approach in the food delivery industry attracted me the most. Even before I joined the company, I liked their interactive user interface and the simplified experiences it brought to customers.

  1. Revisiting the beginning of your Swiggy ride, what was your first day here like?

It was a mix of both nervousness and excitement. I met the core Swiggy Team, interacted with fellow new joiners and made friends with a bunch of Swiggsters on day one itself. It was heartening to see everyone being so welcoming on my first day.

  1. What would you say has been your best moment with Swiggy?

There have been many such moments. Still, the best ones are those where I got to see the impact of my work and the positive results through the changes I recommended. It’s moments like these that keep me going.

  1. From all that you’ve learned in your time here, are there any lessons that you will carry forward?

Absolutely! One key lesson that I learned is the importance of adaptability and continuous learning. In an ever-evolving industry, one must be willing to learn and adapt to stay ahead. Moreover, it’s important to collaborate and communicate effectively not just in a professional setting, but also in all aspects of life.

  1. What do you think has played an important role in your decision to stay with Swiggy?

Swiggy’s supportive work environment for sure! The overall innovative spirit, along with the dynamic growth opportunities have played a major role in my decision to stay with the organisation.

It has been a great experience for me. I am a photographer at heart and like travelling to different places and capturing photos. Through its flexible remote working options, the Blended Ways of Working policy has allowed me to pursue my passion along with my profession. It also helps me maintain productivity by effectively balancing work and life.

  1. What’s one Swiggy value you resonate the most with and why?

The Swiggy value I connect with the most is ‘Be Humble’. This is because I believe one must always stay humble and maintain their composure while facing the continuous ups and downs in life.

  1. If you could, what would you say to the Day 1 version of yourself?

I would tell him to bring his unbiased ideas, original thoughts and fresh perspectives to various projects.
